We have three more months to be dazzled before Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon release for Nintendo 3DS on November 17th.Īnd if they bore you, just hang in there for Pokemon on Nintendo Switch coming in 2018…or later. However, the evolution requirements for Dusk Lycanroc are far stricter. The good news is that, first of all, there seems to be another Lycanroc form coming for dawn evolution, and second of all, this is only the beginning. A Lycanroc evolves into Midday Form when leveled up during the day and Midnight Form when leveled at night.

They also stated you cannot catch the special. They could have easily shown off a bit about the new legendary forms or some of the new gameplay though, right? This special Rockruff is the only one, according to The Pokmon Company, that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc. Presumably, they revealed it because of where the anime has ended up in Japan–I won’t spoil it, but there’s a decent chance that Ash will encounter one of these puppies in the upcoming episode overseas. The Pokemon Company has announced a new form of Lycanroc, which will appear in the recently announced Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. I get it we shouldn’t have super high expectations for new forms or whatnot it’s just a touch lame that the very first information of any kind that we get about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is this slightly altered coloration of an existing Pokemon. Its been confirmed that a new form of Lycanroc appears in the world of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon known as Dusk Form Lycanroc. This is apparently called “Dusk form” and seems to occur when Rockruff evolves at sunset, though the official site says it isn’t obtainable by normal means. If they told me that was its shiny coloring, I wouldn’t know any better. So, that, uh, looks exactly like Lycanroc’s Midday form, but oranger and with green eyes. It’s been confirmed: A new form of Lycanroc appears in #PokemonUltraSunMoon-meet Dusk Form Lycanroc! /RrjbeMJAhI
